FAQs

How does PURIFY remove substances in the air?

PURIFY uses pulse tip technology with the latest double carbon brush to generate more than 6 million negative ions. These negative ions absorb suspended particles in the air by attracting them, making them larger and heavier, and finally causing them to drop out of the air.  It can effectively remove floating dust, smoke, formaldehyde, PM2.5 and other harmful substances in the air.

How does PURIFY kill germs in the air?

PURIFY kills bacteria, viruses and mold in the air by releasing a large amount of negative and positive ions. These are responsible for inducing oxidative stress in bacteria and so reducing bacterial survival.  Air purifiers that use ionization are commonly used in hospitals.

Who would benefit from using PURIFY?

Anybody who would like to breathe a cleaner and better quality of air. This is especially important for people with: asthma, allergies, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), immune diseases, sensitivities to smoke and people who live in highly polluted areas.

Is it safe?

Ionic air purifiers (ionizers) are completely safe and not bad for your health. They emit negative ions into the air as a way to clean it which is harmless to you.

How is it powered?

PURIFY has an internal rechargeable battery. It takes just half an hour to charge the battery to full capacity.  Charging is via a USB cable which is included in the box. It will last 24 hours with continual use.  There are no filters to change or clean and it is completely silent.
